June: Life Lately and Goals

Happy June 1st! Like last month, I wanted to share a quick update on my life as well as what I have planned for June. I included a review of May including if I accomplishment my May goals and the goals I have set for myself for June based on last month.

Review of May

Created new content and uploaded more posts consistently: I created some posts and posted 3 days a week some weeks. Towards the end of the month, I felt a little unmotivated, but I’m jumping right back into writing and posting since I’m feeling renewed after a short break!

Read 4 books this month: Most of May’s books were SOOO GOOD!! I kept on my “reading schedule” of about one book a week {one book I finished in 3 days because it was so good!}. I also have a book review post going live on Wednesday, and I can’t wait to read my June books.

Completed my first round of 21 Day Fix Real Time: It was tough. The 21DF Real Time gets harder each week with different exercises or a harder version of a move. Overall, I didn’t lose much weight or drop tons of inches, but lately, I’ve been feeling much healthier like I can push myself harder and don’t get burned out as quickly.

June Goals

Continue creating and uploading content consistently: I have been thinking of ideas like crazy and am writing lots of posts and shooting looks, so I can try to keep on the MWF posting schedule I had planned for May. Lots of work wear, daily outfits, and bathing suits and workout looks coming soon!

Have an hour of quiet time with God and my Bible: I have been beyond neglecting this the last month and a half, finding something else to do that I think is more important or just forgetting altogether. I’m 43 days behind!! How did I even manage to do that? I plan to read 5 days worth of reading each day until I’ve caught up and hopefully remain on track for the month of June.

Read at least 4 books this month: I read four books during the month of May {book review will be up on Wednesday!}, and I’m really excited to read the books I have planned for June. I have two series and two other books that I want to read this month and into July. If you’re not already following me on Instagram, follow me HERE – I post each book I’m reading in my stories along with 1- or 2-sentence summary/review once I’m finished, and I post a book stack in my feed at the beginning of the month for whoever wants to join!

Continue my healthy lifestyle with eating better and more exercise: On Saturday, I started my second round of 21 Day Fix {found HERE}, and I’m working on planning out my meals and snacks to continue eating healthy and living an overall better lifestyle. Last month, the food was difficult for me because it was my birthday month and Memorial Day, so this month I’ve set some goals for myself surrounding my eating.

Focus on completing the free online courses I signed up for: Last month I was planning on starting two courses from KSU since I am going back to school; however, paying for a class and having to do online learning as a non-online-learner was going to be really difficult for me. Instead, I dropped those classes and signed up for mini online courses to take that were free, so I’m not feeling as stressed out about classes and learning.
